Homemade spy mini camera from a broken screen from a laptop

The author of this homemade, suggests how to make a thing useful in everyday life from a used laptop.
He removed the video camera from the broken rubbish, because of its small size, he decided to make something like a peeping device.

But there was a problem connecting the camera. Color wires do not match the colors of the wires of the USB cable.

Through trial and error, he came to the conclusion how to connect the camera to a USB cable.
Having painted and numbered (for clarity) the wires by color.

He also promised that the spy camera will fit almost any laptop and will work 99%.

with one already completed the underwater I will watch how the fish bite).

blush And I already have one, I watch how the fish bite. The length of the special cable is 15m. I would like more, but so far.
Well, why does this camera work well, a usb camera is connected to the android, it’s not so big unlike the phone. anywhere you can shove, and through the hole to remove))). and with the phone itself it will not work out like that.
Yes, thanks to the author, I collected it worked with a bang, and there were a bunch of such cameras. with one already completed the underwater I will watch how the fish bite).

USB is a well-known and understandable protocol.

The camera has its own “protocol” of connection and it does not matter how it was and where it was connected before.
And if not ... then is it impossible? What will be the problem?

USB is a well-known and understandable protocol. For some specialized protocol, you need to have the appropriate hardware and software, and here everything is ready, therefore, use easy.

The most valuable advice is the information that most webcams in laptops are connected via USBtherefore, if necessary, they can be easily used.

blush And if not ... then is it impossible? What will be the problem?
Sorry, but a number of questions arise .... Opening the article, I thought that the author really built some kind of "spy" camera by embedding a webcam in ..... a lighter / fountain pen / pack of cigarettes, etc., and making it autonomous - providing food and memory. And here - just soldered the webcam, and now it connects to an external USB port via a cable, while earlier it was just soldered to the same bus. As a result, the author has just a regular webcam, only without a case. What is "spyware" here? )))))
I once in the "car radio" once did not suit me for a long time that the flash drive is stuck in the device panel itself. I soldered a long "tail" to the board and brought the USB port to the car panel closer to the steering wheel ...... Uh -..... Excuse me .... Did I make a "spy flash drive" then? ))))))) ....
I will not cling to the fact that the camera was not "made from a broken screen", as indicated in the title ...))). But I don’t think it’s homemade ...
Rather, this is just advice. "How to unzip the webcam contacts to the USB port" .... (After all, then you can install it in some kind of housing and use ....
Only the webcam "spy" from this will not.)))))
Like that.
