Many people have a dog, but not everyone can keep a four-legged friend at home. But a private house with a plot will allow you to make a booth for your pet. And today I will show you my version of building a booth. Such a booth is not small, since I built it for a German shepherd.
For work, we need:
- timber
- boards 150x25
- self-tapping screws
- loops
- plywood
- slate
- paint
- tool
Step 1: First, read the drawing.
Step 2: Then we need to assemble the frame from the timber, this will be the floor of the booth. Next, on this design, we need to fasten the boards (I took 40x150). If you make boards of smaller thickness, then over time they will begin to sag and rot faster.
Step 3: Then you need to put 4 racks, the size you can see in the drawing.
Step 4: Next, from the board (150x25), we begin to sheathe our frame. For reliability, it is better to use self-tapping screws than nails.
Step 5: I made a partition to keep the dogs warmer in winter. To do this, we screw vertically three beams, and then screw the boards onto them.
Step 6: Next, insert 2 rafters into the grooves made, this will be the base of the roof. Then we take a foil insulation and fix it on the rafters. Next, we fasten the crate to the insulation. Next, our design must be screwed so that we can serve inside the booth.
Step 7: On the inside of the roof, we need to fasten the plywood so that the dog does not tear off the insulation. And you can screw the slate. I do not recommend taking a metal tile, as the dog remembers it or may be injured.
Step 8: Next, carefully clean the booth with sandpaper, and you can paint.
And now our booth is ready!
If desired, you can make a rag at the entrance so that there is no snow or rain.
