DRL do it yourself (alteration)

Somehow I took a DRL for my nine. After two years of operation, the diodes suddenly went out one by one. I decided to figure it out and began to disassemble them. I found complete horror, the contacts were oxidized, the capacitor generally broke into tar containers and the diodes themselves burned out.
They were worth a lot. Therefore, I decided to come up with something more budgetary and without any difficulties.
To begin with, I bought diodes for replacement. Then he cleared the textolite of everything that was on it, just cut it off with a knife. Marked on the back where there will be new diodes.
I picked up a drill for the diameter of the new diodes and drilled a hole through it.
Pulled diodes from cartridges.
Drilled holes through. Old diodes were cut off.
I cleaned the burr with a knife. I inserted new diodes into the hole, applied epoxy adhesive on top and around the edges.
Since the textolite did not fit into the case due to the native resistors, I soldered them and soldered the others with the same resistance + - a couple of ohms from the native one. Attached to the reflector and laid out the wiring with all the resistors.
Then I connect the wiring.
After checking whether everything works as it should (adapter for 12V) I collect the "DRL" back. DO NOT FORGET TO SILICON ALL JOINTS. Most likely poor sealing and served as a breakdown of lights.
Check again.
We are happy with the work done.

I agree. But even factory circuits are unreliable. I took these "DRLs" for almost three thousand rubles, as a result of two years and to them Khan. I perepoyal all contacts and secured everything to the maximum, I asked for a copy, not forgetting also about ventilation. While my swallow traveled 3000 thousand km with them and they still work properly. I want to note that also the hands that do this are no small role. Just now I decided to share my work.
Electrically, everything was done right, but structurally - unreliable: what is normal for a table lamp is not suitable for a car, with such an installation, after a few tens (or hundreds) kilometers, the conclusions at the LEDs will break off.
