Homemade Soldering Iron Stand

Good day, dear the inhabitants of our site!!!
This time I will show you a rather simple homemade soldering iron stand. When heating the soldering iron, I had a question - where to put the soldering iron again? I inserted it on a wooden block, but the soldering iron fell all the time, slipped off. Finally I decided to get rid of such a problem, design a soldering iron stand and show it to you.

And so, we begin!

I needed:
1) wooden plank,
2) Two spokes from bicycle wheels,
3) Electric drill,
4) A drill bit slightly less than the thickness of a spoke,
5) the hammer,
6) pliers
7) Ruler,
8) Felt-tip pen or marker.

We prepare a wooden plank for the stand.

Mark the points on the board so that you can drill holes on them.

Now we drill holes at these points.

We take the knitting needles and mark on them the following marks with a felt-tip pen:

With flat-nose pliers, we bend the needle along the marks with the following images:

Both sides must be symmetrical to each other. In everything I got such a soldering iron holder.

Now we hammer the holders with the hammer into the holes of the plank.

This is how I got a stand for a soldering iron.

And here's how it keeps, my soldering iron lies on its stand.

My soldering iron no longer falls, does not slide off, so my problem is solved.
Good luck to all!!!
Bye everyone !!!

20 years ago he did it, still serves.

yes Another five years and you can retire, after length of service.
You just sharpen the ends of the wire and drive them into the stand. ~ 20 years ago he did it, he still serves.
Classic!!!
And pliers !!! ))))
