Barbecue Rocket Oven

Barbecue Rocket Oven
Today, suburban life is quite developed, on the weekend everyone is trying to get out to the country or in the village, get some fresh air, reunite with nature and fry the barbecue or make a barbecue, respectively.

But in order to cook meat in nature, you need a barbecue or a BBQ oven, in shops today a lot of all kinds of stoves and barbecues are offered, for any choice and size of wallet.

And do do it yourself much cheaper, and sometimes even completely free, there would only be scrap metal and a welding machine. For example, the author made a marching barbecue rocket stove just out of metal trash, but how did he do it? Let's look further.

Materials
1. pipe
2. water pipe 20 mm
3. adapter
4. stone
5. grill
6. scrap metal
7. wooden block
8. bolts
9. piece of sheet metal

Instruments
1. Bulgarian
2. welding machine
3. hammer
4. emery
5. drill

The process of creating a DIY do-it-yourself BBQ oven.
And so, first of all, the author wanted to make a light portable stove, which could easily be taken by one person to any place on the site, as well as taken with him on a camping trip or fishing, putting in the trunk of a car.

Further, the author collected the scrap metal he needed in order to calculate and determine everything in advance.

Then the master makes the base of the furnace and its body, a pipe is welded onto a metal disk, a hole was made in it in advance, for the installation of another segment of a pipe of the same diameter, it will serve to load firewood.

The same section of pipe was welded at an angle and divided by a piece of sheet metal into 2 parts, the upper part is obtained for loading firewood, and the lower, respectively, for supplying air.

A bowl of scrap metal was also made, and a cover with a wooden handle was invented to cover it, so as not to get burned.

The author supplemented the design with water pipes on the sides, which will serve as racks for makeshift worktops made of natural material. One countertop will be made of stone, here the master takes a flat stone, processes its sharp corners and attaches it to the rack of the jet furnace.

In the second half, the author makes a countertop made of wood.

Then he lights a fire and loads firewood, thereby conducting a furnace test.

Next, the author proceeds to cooking.

Here is the result. Bon Appetit everyone!

As mentioned above, you can take this stove with you on a camping trip or fishing, putting it in the trunk of a car and having a great time outdoors preparing a barbecue. The author is very pleased with the characteristics of his furnace and its appearance.

although I don’t understand what it is?

This is to the fact that it seemed somehow strange that you did not call steel pipes by the inner (conditional) diameter ... I’ve somehow got used to it from the Soviet era and call them: "pipe fifteen", "twenty "," fortieth ", etc .... (meaning remote control). And only then, when plastic ones appeared, a “colloquial rule” appeared - “metal on the inside, plastic - on the outside” !!! ... (32 PVC = 25 metal ...., for example. "Equal" - this, of course, is not "equal", but "corresponds")))))
... Something like this ... I’m so familiar ... I thought that you too ...

Something I do not recall such that the pipes would be so designated in the USSR, 15, 20 ... we had and have; half an inch, three-quarter, inch, inch and a quarter, one and a half inch .... True, there are already attempts to translate into new terms. Especially in stores, for the new generation, old names in the realm of fiction are difficult.

Well, please introduce how and how you can “attach” a flat piece of stone flat to the end of the “twenty” pipe! I, put forward the assumption about superglue !! )))))). And you? )))))

I do not believe that you did not use the names “twenty”, “forty”, etc., to designate steel pipes (and there were no others before) by remote control. (“Conditional diameter” is a conditional value approximately equal to the inner diameter of steel pipes. “Approximately” - because the outer diameter is regulated by GOST, and the inner diameter depends on the wall thickness, and it can be different.)

Believe and not believe this is your right, although I do not understand why this is? I’ll tell you more, I still measure a metal pipe and work with it only in D. Polypropylene 15, 20, 25 ....

I'm sorry, I want to add. The list requires a 20 mm pipe.
Judging by the photo, there is no such size meter, it is not there at all.
There is a conditional name for metal pipes, in inches; 1 \ 4, 1 \ 2, 3\4, 1, .... D. And in this row there is no 20mm pipe.
The new code name has 20 pipes, but this is not mm. Diameter 20 ... 26.8-26mm, polymer 25mm.

Well, why :) Maybe someone will come up with an idea, and on the basis of it they will create an even more interesting design. By the way, the bulk of scientific discoveries and research, at first it seems complete nonsense :) But in the end everything turns out differently :) Who knows ....?

This is not the case.

How not to do ???

And lastly ....
.... and attaches to the rack of the jet furnace.

Superulean? )))))
I didn’t understand anything either ...

We omit already the "list of materials", which (excuse me, the author), except for laughter, causes nothing ....)))

But the design itself !!!!

The principle of a "rocket furnace" excludes its use as a barbecue !!!
Very, by the way, I do not like this "pop" name !!! I don’t know what associations led to it, but I haven’t heard about a rocket working on the combustion of pyrolysis gases! )))))))
In this design, however, the efficiency is null and void, because the author collected it, apparently, having no idea at all HOW it works!
But, nevertheless, there is a little effect - redness of the metal is visible in the place where the pyrolysis gases are burned.
..What next????!!!!
For example, I do not understand the purpose of the "pot" itself! Why is she? Who will answer me ??? It would be more logical to have a device in this place just a grate, on which you can put a pan and cook borsch! ))))
And why "make" a stream of flame, and then suppress it, laying it with pieces of iron?

Well, about the "mobility": it is somehow difficult to consider a mobile structure, which for transportation has to be dismantled and disassembled into components! Yes, and it will occupy the entire trunk!
I guess I'm retarded or with brains that have long dried out. If you analyze this device, then I personally have more questions than is written about this barbecue. Do not quibble, explain to the old.
The admin will say again, doused with mud. So offhand a couple of questions.
It seems to be a trifle, but why write about it ...

Materials
1. pipe ............................................... .bake, concrete, round, diam. and to infinity
2. water pipe 20 mm .... how much to measure?
3. adapter ................................. which? electric?
4. stone ......................................... I do not even know how to ask .
5. grill ....................................... ???????
6. scrap metal ................................ the most understandable, although it is also different.
7. wooden block.................???????????
8. bolts ......................................... a bunch
9. a piece of sheet metal ....... ?????????????

Does the author (and you) generally know the principle of the "work" of a barbecue? This is not a barbecue, but not knowing what? Yes, and carry it in a car in a place with a stone ?!
I can’t imagine, horror.

"." Specify that you considered it and determined?
"" You can imagine this tree next to the fire-breathing "dragon." And on the other hand, a stone countertop, which is a very powerful anti-balancer,

Yes, and the "corners" under the cover do not forget to take with you.
And on the other hand, a stone countertop, which is a very powerful anti-balancer, the dimensions of which go beyond the dimensions of the support.

And is all this “brainchild” still not a barbecue?
What is the author pleased with? Well, at least a photo of this contentment as a whole (total) showed.
Yes, to backfill. A bar then what is needed for? (is in the list).
Is this a wooden handle?
