DIY speaker for a phone

A very simple and quick way to make a very loud speaker for your phone. The most important component will be the PAM8403 sound amplifier, this amplifier can be purchased on aliexpress for 30 rubles, all links will be lower.

For the manufacture we need:
Materials:
1. Any jar of cream.
2. Battery (3.7 V).
3. The switch.
4. Headphone cable.
5. Mini - sound amplifier.
6. Battery charge controller.
7. Two speakers.
.
.

Instruments:
1. Soldering iron (solder, flux ...).
2. Glue gun.
3. Stationery knife.
4. Pencil.

We will assemble the column according to such a circuit, which feeds up to 5 VOLTS (no longer possible), but the controller is not enough in this circuit, you can do without it, it does not play a big role since the telephone battery already has a built-in controller.

Let's get started.

First, take a can and mark where in the future the switch will be located.

Cut with a clerical knife.

Since there will be two speakers in our column, we will arrange them in front and behind. We mark a hole for the speaker at the bottom of the can.

We do the same in front.

Cut holes for the speakers front and rear.

We also make the last two holes for the cable and for micro-usb charging.

So, with all the holes we figured out, let's proceed to electronics. But first, glue the speakers into the case.

To get started, put the cable through the hole.

Solder the wires from the speakers to the board, do not confuse the polarity.

We will strip the cable from the mini-jack and solder it to the board. Common in between, left and right on the sides.

Solder the battery contacts to the controller, on the controller itself there is already a marking where plus and where minus. We solder the breaker into the gap.

We solder the power wires from the controller to the plus and minus of the amplifier.

As a result, we got such an electrical circuit, which we place in a place convenient for you.

We glue the controller under the bottom of the battery, and the battery itself on top, and the amplifier can be glued to a place convenient for you.

Charging is very easy, since there are two LEDs on the scarf that indicate when the battery is charging, when the blue light is on, the battery is charged and the red one is charging.

The speaker is ready, the sound is very powerful for its penny price, you can also paint it at will, and I made protection for the speakers from a fine metal mesh. We connect to the phone or other device and enjoy.

1200 mAh is suitable, because the battery of a smaller capacity, the applied charge controller (if it is not modified) could burn out. True, the applied controller is intended only for charging, so all hope is that the amplifier will turn off before the battery voltage drops to a critical level.

1200 mAh is very small, for a maximum of 1 hour with a small one. The amplifier consumes 6W power when powered by 3.7 Volts, the current consumed by the battery will be about 1.6 Amperes, and the battery will be 1.2 Amperes, so it turns out about 1 hour, according to calculations at an average volume of about 1, 5 hours of operation. The battery needs at least 2600mAh for long-term use. But in general, the speaker is cool.
1200 mAh - then it goes.

What is your battery (capacity) and what are you going to use a power source (maximum current and voltage)?
