DIY watch from improvised materials

Hello dear visitors of this site! Probably everyone in the house, in every room has a clock, but only in my room there is no clock. Therefore, it is not convenient every time to go to another room and watch the time from there. I wanted to solve this problem and decided to make a home-made watch and share it with you.

1) Old case from a CD,
2) Some kind of beautiful image,
3) 2 syringes for medication,
4) battery,
5) The watch itself,
6) Clock hands,
7) Steel wire,
8) Transparent plastic material.

1) Hot-melt adhesive and thermal gun,
2) scissors,
3) electrical tape,
4) A simple pencil,
5) Square,
6) protractor,
7) drill,
8) Drill, with a diameter of 8 mm,
9) Super glue,
10) Sandpaper,
11) Pliers
12) Clerical knife
13) screwdriver,
14) Self-tapping screw,
15) Marker.

First of all, we make a circuit for our watches. To do this, use a clerical knife to cut out a figure from the case of the CD disc and from the image, but they must be the same.

We glue the image with super-glue on the resulting plastic base.

We glue the edges of the resulting product with an insulating tape.

On the back of the product we find the middle using a ruler and mark with a marker.

Now we drill with a drill at the marked place.

Using a marker, pencil, protractor and ruler, mark the numbers. Remember that for every five minutes there should be an angle equal to 30 degrees.

With the help of a nut and washer, we fix our watches to the resulting base.

Now we are preparing syringes and a clerical knife.

From one syringe we cut four equal parts.

We clean them with sandpaper.

We take a transparent plastic material, cut it into the shape and size of the image.

Glue them with a heat gun at the corners of the clock.

Do not forget to attach the clock hands

We also glue transparent plastic.

Now we need to make a hanger for watches. To do this, take a steel wire and a second syringe.

Cut the syringe as shown in the photo.

Now with pliers we bend the steel wire as in the photo.

Glue the two resulting parts to each other with hot glue.

Now this part must be glued to the watch.

To prevent the clock engine from spinning, it must be secured with the remaining parts of the syringe.

That's all, the watch is ready. It remains only to tighten the screw on the wall and hang a clock on it.
And that's all for me, I hope you enjoyed it.

All success and bye !!!

Blue electrical tape - forever! Hot melt is evil!
The idea is not new, but the implementation leaves much to be desired.
