Swivel drill stand

Hello, dear visitors of this site. In theory, the author of this homemade You will learn how to quickly and easily make a rotary drill stand. Probably almost every house has problems with tools lying around, and everyone is constantly wondering where to put these tools.

And so the author guessed to construct a stand from ordinary materials at hand.

To construct this home-made author needed:

1) Plastic lid for instant coffee cans,
2) Polyethylene,
3) Wooden plank,
4) Self-tapping screw,
5) Two washers.

1) Marker
2) Awl,
3) scissors,
4) Clerical knife,
5) Electric drill,
6) drills,
7) Screwdriver.

Making homemade.

First, the author installed a piece of polyethylene in a plastic cover from a coffee can, and circled the lid with a marker.

With a clerical knife in a line, the author of polyethylene cut a circle.

The resulting circle is inserted into the lid.

Marker marked tags for future holes.

The author took a circle out of the lid and drilled holes in it according to the marked marks. He decided that eight drills with a diameter of 2.5 to 6 mm would be inserted in this stand. For thin drills, I drilled holes with a 3.5 mm drill, and for thicker ones, a drill with a diameter of 6 mm.

He then drilled a hole in the center of the lid of the coffee can.

In order not to confuse the place of the drills, such plates were made here.

The author cut them and pasted them with tape on the lid.

Putting a puck on the screw, the author screwed the lid to the plank.

Now put the plastic insert back into the lid.

That's all, the homemade product is ready.

I hope you liked the homemade. Thank you all for your attention !!! Bye everyone !!!

I am a person, in life not very accurate! (I know this and admit it).I’ve always had a bunch of tools on my workbench ... Something like that with drills ... But not with all ... For small diameters, I use a metal "regular" box from the Soviet era. She always stands open. And her device is such that when opening it leaves ... well ... like a console with pre-drilled signed holes for drills. And it is made of very hard steel. Therefore, I always use it as a template, so as not to take the caliper every time - the drill will not go into its own cell! Here I have all the drills from 1 to 10 mm stored. After all, there are a lot of them ... Nearby there is always a flashlight - look at the size knocked out on the plate. And then after all, by eye you can’t always distinguish, for example, 3 mm from 3.2 mm. Yes, and the tin should be highlighted - the eyes are already a little "tired" ...)))) The box does not close, because the lengths were not the same as those that were in it ... Yes, I don’t need to ...
For cobalt, I use a plastic box from the Chinese kit I drilled - there are few of them, they alternate in sizes of half a millimeter, and the maximum seems to be 8, and the minimum - 2. Somehow enough sizes. In stainless steel, it is rarely necessary to thread, for example, to cut ..
And now, all large diameters, from 12 mm and above (in my opinion, the largest - 24) are dumped into a box cut from a glass washer canister. There are also “duplicates” of small ones (I always keep at least two drills of each size. When I break the drill, I find and insert a “take” into the stand, and I buy and drill the drill into the box ... I grind the debris and they are poured there !)))) ... "Canister" weighs that way under 10 kg ...
In the neighborhood there is the same canister with victorious for the punch. There are various punch chisels, “pencils”, shovels and other accessories.
And one more box from the canister - under feather on a tree. All kinds of adjustable drills, "ballerinas", "crowns" and so on are dumped there.
Above them on the wall hang long woods and long victorious ones - you won’t put them in a box ...
Well, how many spinning stands you have to set up! ))))))))

"and everyone is constantly wondering where to put these tools. "

It was with me, it was with me
I had five drills
I thought where, I thought where
I thought where to put them.

Here is a thought, here is a thought
Here comes a thought to me
I made a masterpiece, I made a masterpiece
I made a masterpiece, respect.

And I, and I
And tiperea I "live"
I take it every time, I take it every time
And again I put it there.
