Floating LED Aquarium Light

Hello everybody. Today I will tell you how to make lighting for aquarium fish.

To do this, we need a piece of Plexiglas 10 cm by 15 cm thick 1-2 cm, 12 LEDs with a diameter of 8 mm and a power of 0.5 watts.

In plexiglass, we drill 12 holes of 8.5 mm from above.

We insert the LEDs there and fix them with silicone.

I connected the voltage of the 3.7V LEDs 4 in series and I got three groups since I have a 15V power supply. But you can connect everything in parallel or everything in series - it all depends on the power source.

For the float, I took a piece of plastic pipe with a diameter of 50 mm, sawed a hole there in the thickness of Plexiglas and inserted Plexiglas there and filled everything inside with foam, when the foam dried, I cut off the excess and connected the power.

The floating lamp is ready, it is completely safe for the aquarium. I took a warm glow of LEDs, but you can replace them with green or colored, it all depends on which fish you live.

polyurethane foam in an aquarium? Yes uzhzh .........
And what TS did is useless nonsense.
Plexiglass is not all safe for the inhabitants of the aquarium. Kaki and silicone.
This is a light panel -
1. Not all plexiglass is safe for aquarium inhabitants.
2. Why is this lamp needed at all? If only it were? Will not work.
panel
- - This is a panel from the TV. 30 watts of excellent spectrum!

Just kidding ...

I also joke with the aquarium - I didn’t lower this crap into the water.

And what about such a flashlight with tightness?

All soldering in the upper part is only plexiglass and 1 cm of float pipe immersed in water. Glass itself does not absorb water as is known.
And what about such a flashlight with tightness?
