The process of creating a pirate unsinkable flash card do it yourself.Before starting work, the master drew a small drawing, as they say, "Measure seven times, cut once." As mentioned above, for the manufacture of the case of flashcards, plum wood was used in advance prepared at the summer cottage when pruning fruit trees. A rectangle was made and a cavity was machined in it for installing the card itself, that's what happened.
The author carried out the work with the help of small homemade chisels, which he specially made for such a miniature work.
On the surface of the hull was a relief resembling the skin of a ship, using a burner.
With the help of a drill, file and tap, I made bolts with a ring head for installing the chain.
As a result, we got such a chain with bolts.
The author made a porthole out of a brass washer, having previously drilled holes around the entire circumference, and riveted brass rivets to the bottom, it turned out very cool.
For attaching to a wooden case. the master made a mount with brass studs.

The author glues brass parts using cold welding.
Metal parts are thoroughly ground and polished.
The case is exposed to stain, but the author faced a small problem here, the stain practically did not soak into hard wood, and when dried, a thin crust formed. To solve this problem, it was decided to cover the stain again and rub the surface with wax, and then heat the resulting layer with a burner and the wax will be absorbed into the wood with the stain.

Then everything is assembled and glued together in a single design and this is what happens.
The plastic cap is also glued to the wooden case.
And now the finished flash drive is connected.
The porthole lights up in green, it looks simply gorgeous.
