Rapidly developing, in recent years, subculture steampunk is becoming increasingly popular. And while such things have not yet been produced for the mass consumer, which is likely to kill this direction, let's enjoy piece copies of handmade.
In this article, the author will tell us how to make an iPhone by combining the technologies of the 19th-20th centuries-21st centuries.

Step One: Holes
To make the case, the author used an old cutlery box. In the box lid, it makes three holes for a phonograph horn, a phone stand and an emphasis.
Step Two: Grinding
Cleans the box from varnish and scratches using 120 pelt.
Step Three: The Inside Of The Box
Inside glues the box with felt.
Step Four: Stand
The stand consists of two copper tubes connected in the shape of the letter T. First, the author cut the tubes of the desired length. He adjusted the junction. Soldered. At the top of the stand made an iPhone cutout. At an angle to the stand, he also emphasized the tube. I installed the tubes in the holes and glued it with epoxy glue.
Cut out a circle from acrylic. I made a hole in it along the diameter of the tube. Glued it to the stop. All the places that the iPhone will come into contact with are pasted over with felt.
Step Five: electronics
Installs the electronic part of the amplifier, speaker, transformer, potentiometers, etc. inside the box. Due to lack of space, the author used only one amplifier channel.
Step Six: Varnishing
Covers, in five layers, the surface of the box with Danish oil. The time between application of the layers, ten minutes. It polishes the last two layers with a metal sponge 000. It also polishes copper parts with a special Brasso mortar.
It remains to install the iPhone on the stand, connect the cable to the amplifier and the iPhone is ready.
