And so for a compact mini generator we need:
gear motor
-module for charging batteries
-usb port
wire
1000 uF capacitor and 16 volts
-tick-tack box
ice cream sticks
From the tools we need:
glue gun
soldering iron
-knife
And so the first thing to do is to unsolder the usb port from the old charger, but if you have one, then you do not need to solder anything
Then you need to solder two wires to the rightmost and leftmost exit (preferably different colors, so as not to get confused) the rightmost one is a plus and the left one is a minus, but look at the usb port pinout so as not to make a mistake and not to burn something (I have a black wire minus)
Put on the heat shrink:
As a current converter, I will use the Chinese module for charging 18650 batteries, since most Chinese banks use them, you can also use the car charging module for the phone, which is inserted into the cigarette lighter.
Chinese 18650 charging module produces 5 volts and 1 ampere
And so we solder the usb port to the output part of the module observing the polarity!
In the gearbox, make a groove under the ice cream stick:
We divide the ice cream stick by gender:
Glue the sticks as shown in the photo and strengthen with one more half:
Solder two wires to the gearbox:
We measure the performance of our dynamo with a multimeter, also with the help of a weaker one we determine on which wire plus and on which minus when the knob is rotated clockwise. The gearbox gave out 3 to 4 volts and almost half an ampere, which I was surprised.
Solder the gearbox to the input part of the module, also observing the polarity:
and in parallel, solder the capacitor between the gearbox and the module, observing the polarity:
Remove the lid from the teak box and cut a hole for the gearbox, as shown in the photo:
We cut a hole for the usb port:
Now all that remains is to glue everything carefully, as shown in the photo:
Well, that’s it, our dynamo is ready! This charge produces only 0.1 amperes with an average rotation of the handle, this figure can be increased. I would not recommend charging the phone with such a charge; it is intended for emergency recharging of banks. Of course, to fully charge the bank, you will have to rotate the handle for about an hour. In principle, if you adapt it to bikethen it will be ok.
If the blue LED on the module is on, this means that the charged object is charged, and if the red is on, it means that it is charging:
Thank you all for your attention!
