DIY do-it-yourself microphone

In order to make this microphone, the author needed such materials: a cork from a plastic bottle, a wire, a plug (tulip), two batteries, an insulating tape, food foil, graphite powder, small bolts and nuts for them. First of all, the author took the cork and made a hole in it for a bolt.

Then a bolt twisted into this hole,

and screwed a nut on it.

on the second bolt he sewn his hat

and stuck it to the cork

then poured graphite powder into the cork,

applied glue along the edge of the entire lid,

and sealed with foil.

he cut the excess foil

leaving a piece on against the bolt that stuck.

then folded the foil to the bolt

on against the glued bolt in the foil made a hole

put the foil on the bolt

and tightened the nut.

The foil should not touch the early screw.

Then the author took the wire and screwed the ends to the bolts.

screwing nuts on top.
the other end of the wire connected to the batteries and the tulip like this.

And isolated.

Then he connected the tulip to the speaker.

Turned on the column.

And he went on to test, adjusting the volume on the speaker. Everything works.

The experience is interesting, but you can’t record videos on YouTube) and + to the author
The real author rightly called what he was doing: "experiment." Therefore, the correct name of the product is not “a simple microphone” (you can’t use it as a microphone), but “a home-made physics textbook on the topic“ carbon microphone "(taking into account this wording, put a plus). Indeed, it will be interesting for a student to repeat this experiment on his own, good will be.
