There is a problem with the modem, I have already tried a bunch of everything, advise what else to do to finally make sure that the modem is to blame.
The problem is unstable signal reception. A terrible noise on EC / LO, although before everything worked fine.
What I tried:
1. I had a Sierra 598U modem, worked fine for more than 2 years, then I started to receive a signal badly. Well, I thought it was time to change it. Finally, I fried it in the oven, I thought somewhere a soldering defect)))
In short, I bought a new one of the same model, the tal is better to work, but it’s wildly sausage connection.
2. Changed the adapter from the external antenna to the modem.
3. Changed the cable from the antenna
4. A million times examined the entire antenna (It costs 24 dB)
5. I tried on another computer and with a different antenna (the same problems).
6. Reloaded the PRL file
7. Disabled diversification (internal antenna), as well as 1X mode
8. Of course, I twisted the antenna on different towers and carefully searched for the BS on Axesstel
9. Dismantled the modem, looked at the external antenna connector.
What I did not do was not flashing, but I do not know if it will help. In addition, I do not have access to CHAP_SS, and the seller refuses.
What parameters are in the firmware that may lead to such consequences?
