When the video card is not equipped with cooling or the hard drive generates a lot of heat, you have to resort to additional cooling.
Introducing a design to combat overheating. Details are available, costs are equal to zero.
For the construction we need:
- two clothes pegs;
- two screws;
- fan from the old power supply;
- two plates, I have jumpers from an induction motor.
The brackets are bent at an angle of 90 degrees with a slight offset. The bend is clearly visible in the picture. If there are no staples. Can be made from sheet aluminum. Fat is not needed, the load is small.
On a clothespin, punch holes for screws. We drive holes in clothespins.
The fan took 80 mm. Good size in a small case.
We fasten our corners to clothespins. We also fasten our corners to the fan.
So that the screws do not unwind from vibration, drip a drop of super glue
The wires are tattered. You can solder something like connectors, but I did not have anything suitable. The wires can be connected to 5 V and 12 V. It all depends on the strength of the air flow needed for cooling. Also, 5 volts noise is less, but if the fan is new or well-greased old, then almost no noise is heard.
