Good day. Today I’ll talk about how to build country house with minimal cost. We will design it from pallets that you can buy. But since everyone construction based on making everything cheap, I recommend a trip to the construction of any large facility. There pallets can be given just like that, i.e. is free. Other materials for the country house can also be found in the same construction site.
I want to immediately attract the attention of critics that in this case, the construction of a country house does not take place in a remote province, but not far from a large city. Therefore, to get all the necessary materials at an affordable price or completely free - no problem.
Necessary materials
1. Pallets. Their number for the construction of the house will depend on how large the room is planned.
2. Logs and timber.
3. Cable reels.
4. Self-tapping screws.
5. Ruberoid. It will be used as a roof. Here you can also save money if you take the old advertising banner instead of roofing material.
6. OSB plate. They will sheathe the walls.
Do not forget that the house will need at least one window and one door. It is not advisable to order new metal-plastic windows for such a structure. To solve this problem is not difficult. In connection with the massive replacement of windows in new buildings after the delivery of the house, many residents change the window frames to better ones, since the developer initially installs technical windows. In the same way you can find an inexpensive door.
An alternative and the most profitable is the case when the house has old windows and doors.
Construction process
Since the country house will not be designed to live in it permanently or in the winter, we will not use any insulation materials. If you wish, you can add to your design: polystyrene foam, hydro- and vapor barrier, mineral wool and so on, that is, something that is enough for imagination and financial means.
And so, the beginning of almost any construction begins with the foundation. We will have it made of logs.We lay them and tighten the bars with each other. To make the floors strong, we close the space between the bars in circles of cable reels.
When the floor is finished, you can begin to build walls. The pallets are installed around the perimeter one on one and twisted with wood screws. In the process of carrying out construction work on the erection of walls, a door was immediately installed.
When the box is ready, you can proceed with the construction of the roof. The rafter system is made of beams.
We make the coating of roofing material. Additionally, you can lay slate, metal profile or other roofing material.
The final step in the design of a country house will be the installation of windows and wall cladding OSB slab.
