Wooden stand for sawing boards

This homemade very simple and useful. It will help you to cut on the table and without scratching it with a hacksaw.

Materials and tools :.

1. Wooden board 130 mm long, 70 mm wide.
2. Two bars 25 mm by 25 mm, width 70 mm.
3. Hacksaw.
4. hammer.
5. 4 nails 30 mm long or 30 mm screws as well.
6. The skin.

1 step.
You need to knock one bar to the edge of the board. Here as shown in the photo.

2 Step.
Now exactly the same from the other end. That's what you should get.

3 Step.
All this is sanded with sandpaper and trim the edges.

That's all the stand is ready, I recommend you make two stands at once in order to rest the board on both,
it will be more convenient.

Here is an example of its use:

Yes, yes, I’m talking about it as someone more convenient.
I was somehow used to sawing on the edge of a supporting surface (workbench, table, stools). And it’s more convenient to hold the hacksaw at an angle, easier to saw.
I'm on the wave of an American site. There every 3-4 homemade ghouls, pumpkins and zombies)))
in our countries, just and so every day is Halloween
We are not in America !!!

This is not something like a paint. Well, there to cover a tree for protection from everything, well, like a varnish.
So Halloween is bad
What is the table in blood?

Well, it’s like someone

Why doesn’t it help? If the board is higher than the table.
Firstly, because it is inconvenient to saw, strictly keeping the hacksaw parallel to the table, and secondly, at the time of cutting, the hacksaw makes a sharp downward movement no matter how hard you try.
And if you make the upper bar turning with fixing the angle, you get a simplified miter box.

Why doesn’t it help? If the board is higher than the table. Yes, I don’t know about it
That the hand will protect and the fact that the board is perpendicular to the table, but guessed.
No, not her. The third (from this series) was called "All the colors of the rainbow." (Remembered). These were my "reference books" !!! Everything is presented from the basics and in a very accessible language for the boys !!! And since I had access to the grandfather's workshop, I tried to try it all out! ...
The use of such a stand I see is not to prevent the table from being scratched (it will not help this), but to maintain the perpendicularity of the cut and not to scratch the hand by accidentally breaking a hacksaw at the initial stage of sawing.

... I forgot the third ...
? And also, “Take off for you!”
Once, in the very beginning of the 80s, I had the books of A. Markushi "About the hammer, pincers, and other necessary things", "Workshop at home" and ... forgot the third ... Wonderful books !!! I read voraciously !!!
It was there that I spied about such an emphasis and made it then ....))))
It’s a decor

If you don’t see that I’m not drinking at this time, then of course it will not help.

Yes, I just took pictures at this time and because of this it may seem so.
It will help you to cut on the table and without scratching it with a hacksaw.
If you saw as in the last photo, it will not help.
