This bench was made by the author specifically for the boarding house where older people live and undergo treatment. Not so long ago, the master saw a similar bench on the Internet, decided to borrow an idea and create an improved and more comfortable version of a folding bench-transformer) It can take several positions: sitting with a back, a couch, a seat with armrests and a combined version.
Thick plywood 18 mm was used to create the bench, for the main legs it was double glued and reinforced. At first, templates were made and workpieces were already cut out on them. The base is made up of legs and two aluminum pipes, one pipe holds blanks, and the second pipe plays the role of a lock.
In total, about five sheets of thick-walled plywood were used up, many of course will say that this is not rational. Yes, of course, a lot of material has been spent, but the result is certainly worth the time and money spent.
And so, let's look at how the master assembled the bench and what exactly did he need for this?
