A vacuum cleaner is used to suck in small particles of dust. I came to the conclusion about the need to create this device by removing dust from the liquid crystal matrix of a handheld computer. To do this with a cloth is not possible. Subsequently, I realized that a vacuum cleaner is a very useful thing to remove dust from a computer, especially in shallow and inaccessible places. Due to the design features of the microfoil, its nozzles can be quickly and easily created and changed. Therefore, the area of this device can be quite wide.
There are two main ways to create a micro vacuum cleaner.
1 way
There is nothing complicated in the assembly, and it is carried out in stages.
To make the product we need:
- any fan with a diameter of 6-12 cm
- a plastic bottle with a cap (capacity 0.5-2.0 liters - in accordance with the type of fan)
- a rubber flexible tube or hose with a diameter not exceeding the diameter of the cap
- transformer 14 V, diode bridge (option)
- toggle switch (option)
- insulating tape
- polyester
There is nothing complicated in the assembly itself. With scissors or a sharp knife we cut the bottle across (approximately in its middle). In accordance with the diameter of the neck, we cut out a dust filter from foam rubber or similar material. The main thing is that he holds himself and does not need additional fixation.
Then, using a knife, make a hole in the plug for our hose. Slots between the cap and the hose are filled with polyester. When inserting, in order to avoid kinks in the hose, you can insert a rigid tube into the cover (for example, the case is usually a plastic ballpoint pen). We’ll wind this nozzle onto a plastic bottle. For each specific need, different nozzles can be easily manufactured.
We complete the assembly and begin to test the operation of the vacuum cleaner. If the suction of small dust particles is difficult, the diameter of the hose should be increased. You should also check the correct installation of the cooler. It should clearly stand in the bottle and not have gaps between its walls and the body.
Then we fix the cooler to the bottle using insulation tape. This will also ensure proper sealing of the structure.Optionally, you can use two coolers and fix them inside the bottle with thick wire.
The vacuum cleaner is now fully assembled. Of course, it is better if it is powered by a separate transformer with a diode bridge and has a switch.
2 way (simpler)
We take an unnecessary ball mouse and fan from an old computer (you can at least from the first pentium).
We disassemble the mouse and install a cooler in place of the buttons.
From the bottom of it we throw out the rollers and the board. With pliers we eliminate all protruding parts, except for fixing the lower and upper halves.
Then you need to assemble the mouse. In place of the ball we put a filter of matter and on top - a regular flange.
The device is ready. It remains only to connect it to a 12-volt power supply. In operation, such a vacuum cleaner is quite effective and does not create excess noise.
