It’s even ridiculous to call this method a budget one, because here milk was used as glue, and the life-saving blanket became the tinting material. No matter how funny it looks, homemade would be a great way to do car cooler in the heat if it does not have an air conditioner of course. Materials and tools for tuning:
- ordinary milk (it seems to me that it is better to take fatter);
- a rescue blanket (or space blanket;

Car tuning process:
Step one. Apply glue
Auto conducted a lot of experiments in terms of glue selection. At first he tried to glue the blanket with plain water, but when the window was heated by the sun, the blanket began to lag behind.
The next solution was to use casein glue, but the disadvantage was that it is too thick, poorly applied, and then it will be difficult to peel it off.
As a result, the solution to the situation was the use of milk. This product is quite liquid so that it can be applied evenly to the window, and it holds the coating perfectly. According to the author, the blanket stays on milk for at least a year during active trips.
At this stage, take a cloth and milk, then evenly apply milk on the surface of the window. Of course, before starting work, the window needs to be thoroughly washed. You can evenly distribute milk over the glass using a window sprayer.As a result, almost all milk needs to be squeezed out from under the covers to make the window transparent.
Step Two Glue the blanket
Immediately after applying milk, you need to glue the blanket, as the milk will begin to drain and dry. We simply distribute the blanket over the window and smooth it out, driving out the air. The quilt will naturally be attracted to the glass due to static electricity. A damp cloth will help you smooth it.
Step Three Cut off the excess
Using a stationery knife, cut off the excess parts of the life blanket in a circle around the window.
