The winding glued to the blockhead is put into the press, setting mortgages and false cheeks along the winding perimeter (see Fig. 3). The clamps of the press or clamps are placed in the center of the crimp. They begin to squeeze from the side of the invoice “cheeks”, then compress the bag alternately until the overhead “cheeks” run into the mortgages and an equal winding wall is formed on all sides. The displaced excess glue must be removed and the workpiece left in the press so that the compacted mass of cardboard fibers can stick together and harden. If the gluing was hot, then you can release the screws in half an hour, if cold - in an hour. A “blockhead” is knocked out of the pressed winding with light blows of a mallet.
Round coils are pressed with a tight fit with a rubber bandage.
Released raw billets are placed in a cabinet on a grate base for drying in cold mode without heating, i.e. at normal room temperature. After a day or two, the blanks begin to turn over and do this for five to six days. Flat plates are dried in a bent state, laying between them canvas.
The dried material is very light and, if brought to the cheek, should not cool it.
