A wire, a wire with insulation, can take any shape and hold it. Aluminum conductors are cheaper, and copper conducts more bends. The cross-section of wires is standardized, part of them: 1.5; 2.5; 4; 6; 10 mm2. Hard wires with one wire are available, and flexible wires are multi-wire.
If you dissolve a flexible wire of 4 mm2, you can get material for working with beads. I used those to make the jumper, instead of a jumper on the IDE screw (I gave it to Old and returned without it).
More often I work with hard wires, from them you can create a lot of useful and beautiful.
For the people close to me, I did, as a gift, pendantskeychains. There are no photos, each is done individually, there are no identical ones.

Poke for the tester. I replaced one of the pokes with a piece of wire, since it did not work to solder the torn off wires.

A piece of wire can be girdled, such a method was somehow told in a humorous program. The girl's belt was torn, she replaced it with a wire. When the gopot slowed her down, she began to unwind with a sharp cry of a specific religious content and they wound off at a wild speed. Imagine the situation with their eyes: a girl unwinds a wire in the area of the belt and shouts in the manner of a kamikaze.
For exercises, I used the belt, but it began to break due to considerable effort, replaced with a piece of flexible wire, and it holds on to this day.
