Developed a new type of sandblasting. He called Peskomet. Your opinion is interesting.

The invention is made in the form of nozzles on the grinder. Ushm in this case used the most advanced, in my opinion, Metabo WE 19-180 QUICK RT. The nozzle consists of a throwing disc and a casing. Purpose of the thrower: accelerates the abrasive from zero to 105 meters per second, pumps air into the treatment zone to blow it. Purpose of the casing: protecting the operator from abrasive and holding the container with the abrasive in the desired location.

For four months not a single Bulgarian “flew”.
From myself I want to add that angle grinders have changed a lot. Modern cars go brushless with a stator and a rotor doused with an abrasion-resistant polymer. The flagships are generally equipped with electronic speed control under load, auto-balancer, brake, anti-jamming device, anti-vibration handles, etc. My personal choice is Metabo !!!

During this time, the site Peskomet.rf designed and organized sales of his invention on it, developed a nozzle for a “small Bulgarian” angle grinder under a 125 mm diameter disc. For four months, 100 sales and only one bought consumables. He was cleaning the dump truck body. We did not measure it in the engine hours. The blades of the throwing disc and the body plate armor wear out. cooper-slag and shot worked. I continue to work on increasing the resistance to abrasive wear.

What do you think yourself, what is the approximate resource of the installation in engine hours, what wears out first of all, is it possible to use cooper slag and shot to increase productivity.

The analogue is the same and that works on old technology with an impeller i.e. accelerates the abrasive with a double blow, in this regard, it only works with shots because sand cannot withstand a double blow. And in her hands do not hold because of the mass. She leans on wheels.
I do not recommend cooking utensils with abrasive blasting equipment. after processing, the surface becomes rough and everything that is burnt, grease or soot tightly attaches to the surface, and when cleaning the periphery, but not the stubborn dirt, is cleaned.

So I'm for mobility and I say. For home, that’s it. And at the expense of paint, well, as I see in the video, maybe I'm mistaken. But there are different pans. Modern ones may not need to be cleaned, and old cast-iron ones why not. Personally, my opinion is, I would like to have such a tool. How much by the way is the cost of your fixture planned and are there any analogues?

She doesn’t replace the airblast? It depends on which kit and in what situation. If you take a DSG200 with an 8 mm nozzle and a screw compressor, then in the conditions of the inhabited camera the peskomet will lose, but if you need to clean the barrel on the road ... I personally will choose the peskomet. Battle with household sandblast sandbox will win in all rounds. A household sandblasting kit cannot be assembled cheaper than a sandblast. Dimensions during storage are not comparable. Mobility peskometa out of competition. The power consumption of the sandbox is lower than all analogues.
Not a gram of paint was left after cleaning with a sandblast - this is unfounded.
And I do not recommend cleaning the pan with abrasive blasting equipment - after the first application it will become worse than it was ((

Of course, air sandblasting will not replace, but for the house is completely nothing. Even stupidly clean the pan and that’s good. Although, judging by the video, it is rather weak in terms of power, the dirt was cleaned off, and the paint remained.
