The main feature of this guide is the ability to change the drilling angle from -45 to 45 degrees. The guide is also quite compact and easy to assemble - disassembled. Its base is equipped with a convenient (removable) handle, a scale for adjusting the angle of inclination, a central plastic stand with a V-neck for working with cylindrical objects and four holes, thanks to which device can be firmly fixed on any surface and get a stationary version. An important point is the fact that there is a scheme for assembling the device in full in Russian.
There are two options for connecting the guide itself and the base - only for drilling perpendicular holes (fixing directly in two of the four holes in the base) and for drilling at the required angle (fixing in special guides using the washers included in the kit). The angle is changed by loosening the locking washers by rotating the tilt adjusters (green tips). It should be noted that there is a “lamb” on one of the rods, which allows you to pre-compress the spring and thereby limit the free movement of the drill.

Among the minuses of this device, it should be noted that during operation it is necessary to struggle with the resistance force of the springs without a lever, but analogues equipped with levers play especially strong backlash, thereby working with them is very inconvenient, and the result is far from ideal. When working with such a guide, there is practically no drill backlash, the guides themselves are “out of the box” lubricated, so that the movement is smooth without creaks and jerks, due to which the holes are completely neat.
