First of all, we carefully remove all the fabric and leave the bare skeleton. When the skeleton is freed with sandpaper, we remove all the old paint; this takes about 5 days. We will change everything and the foam and lower elastic band under the seat. When all the paint has been stripped off, it is necessary to cover the tree with soil. We will paint with white water-based paint and gold. You must put up to 10 layers. We make new upholstery according to old patterns. After the paint has dried, cut out the foam rubber on the back and on the seat. Armrests also with foam. For buttons, you must have an apparatus that refills the material on them - everything should be matched to the topic. The most crucial moment is the installation of buttons, they are set according to the template and marking.
After installing the fabric, it is necessary to cover the chair with the fabric from the outside from behind. The work is very difficult and painstaking. And that’s what happened in the end.
