Children's football goal made of PVC pipes

Children are our happiness, this is joy, this is grace. It's no secret that our hobbies and hobbies begin from our childhood. Whether it's drawing, or football, or basketball, or a completely new hobby for many modern kids origami. But in the summer, when little fidgets are drawn to the street so rarely, they can be carried away by sedentary work. Football is what you need, even for girls. And if such a football goal appears on your site, then be sure that your baby will be passionate about this game for a long time.

Do not be alarmed by the list of required devices, if you follow strictly the instructions, then everything will come out as in the author’s photo.

It is required:
PVC pipes and their connecting, i.e. corners and tees
Scissors for metal
Soldering iron, you can use glue for PVC pipes, but a more reliable soldering iron
Grid
Plastic clamp

You can buy pipes in a hardware store or a market. You can and should just save here, because temperature pressure in the future they will not. Well, scissors or a soldering iron, too, will not be the case if you are familiar with at least one man of mature age. If he has garage, or even better - he lives in a private house, then 99% that he has both.

All pipes, tees and angles in the photo are marked, and any experienced seller will sell them to you. Cut pipes of the same size. Size take any or standard as in stores.

We connect pipes in two rods

Then into two corners

We assemble the structure so that subsequently a long pipe enters the tee located on the straight rods. You need to choose the right angle and only then cook with a soldering iron.

We connect the tees of two straight rods with two pipes

We stretch the grid, securing with a clamp.

The gates are ready. Put them on the playground and the guys will be delighted. And you, in turn, can be in the role of a commentator: "The second number catches up with the first. The goalkeeper is ready to attack. The first gives a pass to the third number. Shot on goal! GOAL !!"

Cool invented thing! My husband and I used to make wooden gates, but they were short-lived. Most often they just broke, and messing with them was not very convenient. In this case, the version with pipes is original and does not require large expenses. I’m thinking of installing oneself in the yard, for my children there will be an opportunity to drive the ball and indulge. Thanks for the detailed assembly instructions and clear description!
Very original solution. It is easier and simpler than making gates from metal pipes - you do not need a welding machine and an experienced welder. I think that a person without special skills can make this gate - everything is clearly described in the article.
Is it necessary to use a soldering iron, or will the pipes hold well if they are glued together?
Is it possible to make the option of collapsible gates to take with you when you go to nature?
A good way out is not to pay a lot of money for such toys for children. Everything is easy and simple. The most important thing is safety and it’s just thought out here. I agree with the previous ones regarding that it would be nice if the gates were dismantled.
As one philosopher said: "Everything ingenious is simple." The first plus, of course, is the safety of such a design, the exclusion of childhood injuries in the form of bruises, bumps on an iron bar, as described above. And the second one is that such gates will not be taken away for scrap - as is the case with iron products in playgrounds (we somehow dismantled the slide in the courtyard and carried away what’s there to say behind the gates).
What a neat football goal turned out. In our yard there are some iron colossus that pose a threat to the health of the kids chasing the ball. And this gate looks quite safe. The main thing is that there is nothing tricky. Only it seems to me that they are too low for playing football. Or for kids, a gate of this size is quite suitable?
It’s nice to make the gates collapsible - it’s useful to be able to equip an “almost real” football field in just a few minutes on any lawn.
But after "welding with a soldering iron" the gates will cease to be prefabricated. :-)
Probably, I’ll not only note that children - perpetual motion machines - are less likely to break their nose and get other bruises if their sports equipment is not made of metal, but of PVC. I think that the structure should not be left on the street for the winter, it is worth considering where it should not be welded, so that it can be easily disassembled and does not take up much space when disassembled.
