The filter for soldering works is very expensive. In order not to overpay, I made it from a burned-out power supply. The carbon filter itself costs a penny. We take the power supply according to the size of the ordered carbon filter, throw everything out of it except the fan and the power button .. install the power supply for the fan -12 volts. Glue a plastic corner to the filter housing to attach it. We turn on check that the absorption was inside. You can also install a speed controller on one transistor for three years now ... it is advisable to replace the carbon element once a year.
