It is very difficult to type in darkness. I don’t own a blind set.
It was decided to make a backlight for the keyboard.
Since I’m not doing it, I am doing what I have.
To make this design, we need:
- reflector from a halogen lamp with a GU 5.3 cartridge;
- two LEDs, in my case white;
- two resistors of 82 ohms, power from 0.125 watts;
- one piece of chipboard 200 * 50;
- two pieces of chipboard 50 * 25;
- four screws;
- toggle switch, I have mt1 (you can any);
- a segment of a double single-core wire PPV 2 * 2.5;
- wire from an old keyboard or mouse;
- a couple of couplers.
Soldering iron, hot glue, drill.
First of all, we fasten small pieces of chipboard to a large one.
We drill holes for the rack and toggle switch. Insert the last one. Paint at will.
We clean the wire and solder resistors and LEDs to it. We get ourselves such an alien). Note the polarity of the device. LEDs are soldered in parallel.
We insert the rack with LEDs into the reflector and fill everything with hot glue.
We insert the resulting design into the stand. Solder the positive wire on the toggle switch.
We solder the lace from the keyboard. Plus on the toggle switch. We solder the minus in a straight line. Red plus, yellow minus. We fix all wires with hot-melt adhesive and plastic ties.
We are testing. Enjoy comfortable lighting.
Detailed assembly of the device on video. Thanks for attention.
