The design of budget compressors for decubitus mattresses is not diverse. But some models have filters at the air inlet to the compressor. And they tend to lose bandwidth. It was possible to throw out a thick felt and cut circles from a disposable mask into several layers. The switching speed of the air channels does not change. Pump performance only.
As noted above, if the pump fails, it is perfectly acceptable to select the power from the aquarium.

Thanks so much for this article! Specifically registered to thank. In the photographs, you so clearly explained that I immediately became bolder and repaired the Meditek compressor with my own hands. He lay idle for about 5 years and began to pump both sections equally and remained without any cycles of alternating blowing-pumping. Having disassembled the distributor, I immediately realized that the lubricant inside it had dried / lost its properties. I used a thick silicone grease that came with the Atoll drinking water filter. Now it shakes like a clock! By the way, there are almost no materials on this topic. Thanks again.
