The idea of ​​creating an ATV with my own hands arose for a long time. There are many reasons for this: high prices for branded ATVs, the presence of almost all components for disassembling cars, and finally it is simply interesting.
There are a lot of schemes for independent construction of ATVs. Most often, amateur models are based on some kind of car or motorcycle. The most popular base are VAZ cars and Dnepr motorcycles.
In the photo, a homemade ATV made by me.
Externally, the ATV is inferior to its “branded” foreign counterparts, but the technical characteristics are quite good.
The construction budget was limited, so it was decided to assemble it as a mono drive, and since I wanted a quadric more powerful for two people and preferably the engine pulling to the same and not large trailer was taken from the Dnieper motorcycle. Moreover, its design is simple and well studied.
During the construction of the frame, this miracle was redrawn 3 different frames from various motor vehicles (winters 350, Dnieper, Lynx 2)
He took the brakes from Vaz. The rear axle was also taken from him.
