On the sides, we close the pipe with cans of sprats, etc. They fit tightly into the ends of the pipe. We drill two holes in the pipe and in the can, and with the small things in the household, we fix the cans to the pipe so that the grain does not spill out. You can even wire. The best option is to attach these feeders to the inside of the cage, with the expectation that the hole is at the very top, in order to avoid raking of feed.
