Armature with a diameter of 8 mm.
Hairpin M 10 length 250 mm.
Bushings 5 pcs. can be made of metal pipe or replaced with nuts.
Nuts M 10.
Steel discs with a diameter of 150 mm. and 2.5 mm thick.
With a hole in the center of 10 mm. Can be replaced with metric discs with a angle grinder or circular saw.
Old wood hacksaw.
And a couple of M 10 bolts.
First of all, the author cut off a piece of 500 mm from the reinforcement and gave it the desired shape.
Then he screwed a couple of nuts onto the stud.
Then these nuts will be welded to the fittings.
In order not to spoil the thread on the stud during welding, the author removed it.
And after welding, set back.
Then he put a sleeve on the hairpin.
Then drive.
Hub and disc again.
Etc.
Leaving space on each side of the stud for another nut.
I cut off the excess.
After installing additional nuts.
On the edge of the stud.
And tightened them well.
Taking a couple more nuts.

After the hacksaw, the master will cut a strip 40 mm wide.
And this strip will give a U-shaped.

To fix this part, he will make 10 holes in these places.
The author will make these surfaces sharp, as this part will serve as a knife.
Using bolts, I installed the knife in place.
Then he additionally installed one more nut on each bolt and tightened them.
To limit the movement of the knife, the author will weld two pieces of reinforcement, as shown in the photo.
And in the end, the master will take the old chopper, cut the stalk from it with a fastener.
And weld to homemade. Such an instrument today has turned out by the author.
