In this article, the author of the Banjo Show YouTube channel will show you how he made a stylish candlestick with an automatic system for extinguishing a wick of a burnt candle.
Copper and brass are very noble metals, having a pleasant reddish and yellow hues, the author decided to use precisely them for his designer home-made. He will use a steel flange to make the base of the candlestick.

Manufacturing process.
So, first of all, the master lubricates the thread of the flange with anaerobic glue, and twists a half-inch brass flange into it.
A tee is installed on the overhang, another overhang is installed in the upper branch of the tee.
The crane is screwed to the upper bend so that the lamb "looks" to the other side from the lateral branch of the tee.
Screws another bend into the tap, and parses the mortise adapter. The connector from the adapter screws into the lateral branch of the tee.
From a steel bar cuts two billets of 100 mm in length.
Then polishes them with a screwdriver and abrasive paste.
On cutting boards bends two steel billets.
Then marks and core the drilling site. Drills holes for the axis in the workpieces.
Fluxes the holes in the flange and the edges of the steel bars, collects the part.
Having put a couple of pieces of solder, heats the soldering spots with a gas burner.
Having cleaned and polished the soldering places, sets the holder in place.
Then the master wraps a brass wire on a steel bar, creating a spiral.
Bends the edges of the wire, giving them shape.
From the steel bar, the author made a small sleeve, which is inserted into a spiral, and fixed on the axis of the holder.
The author sharpened one of the edges of the wire, fitting in size a little further than the edges of the future candle. Then he flattenes the wire a little and puts on a weight washer. Also flatten the wire so that the weight does not fly off.
Having installed the last ridge, it tries on a copper plug.
Having missed the upper part with flux, and putting a piece of solder, solder the connection. Then he polishes it and polishes it.
Preliminary check of the device.
Installs a candle in a candlestick, cocks a flame arrester.
Burning a candle, the device is ready.
After a while, the candle burned out and released the quenching mechanism. The lid slammed shut and the candle cinder was successfully extinguished.
