We need to measure how many milliamps a garland consumes when powered in the usual way, on the basis of this, calculate the resistance and power of the limiting resistor. So that the current through the garland becomes the same as before completion, then the voltage on it will also become the same automatically.
At the input of the garland, a diode bridge must be installed, observing the polarity, then the LEDs will flash with a frequency of 100 Hz. This, for the eyes, is not noticeable.In your case, the LEDs flash at half frequency (25 Hz).
