In this article, you will learn how the master made a set of leather products from the leather of an old armchair and a pair of leather shoes. To work with leather, the master used the simplest improvised tool, and some he made himself from an ordinary fork and bolt.
Case for flask.
The first product is a flask cover. The skin is old and must be soaked before starting work. Then a pattern is made and the skin is cut out and then stitched. From the back, the master makes a loop for wearing the flask on the belt.
Knife case.
Cut a piece of leather to size. Edge glued with sandpaper before gluing. So the skin becomes thinner and the seam is not rough. I glued the cover. Set rivets and a ring for attaching the knife to the belt.
Case for the ax.
The ax case is made according to the same principle. An additional part is a strap with a button on the end.
Waist bag.
And finally, the last product is a waist bag. The master sewed the bag. For punching holes I used a tool from a fork, and I installed the buttons with a Phillips screwdriver and a turned bolt.
These things come from things that others throw in landfills. This is the master’s first experience with leather, and, in my opinion, it didn’t work out badly. If the master still painted his products, it would be generally excellent.
