Manufacturing process.
First of all, the master cleaned up a workpiece suitable for the base.
Then he marked out and pinned the centers of the holes for the mounting bolts on the roller.
Drilled through holes with a diameter of 8 mm.
Made countersunk holes for the bolt heads.
Pressing the roller to the base, outlined the centers of the holes.
I drilled holes and cut a thread in them with a tap.
He clamped the bolts with a hex wrench, and tried on a small roller.
I cut off a suitable steel strip, polished all the edges, and drilled holes for the pins.
Assembled the design together.
And welded the pins to the steel strip.
He made the handle from a 20X20 mm profile pipe, made an oblique incision at its end, and welded it to the edge of the strip.
As an emphasis, the author chose a steel bar, and welded it to the base. A plate is also welded to the bottom of the base to hold the fixture in a vise. You can not do this, and press it to the workbench with a clamp.
The device is ready, you can install the handle. To give the device aesthetics and corrosion protection, it can be spray painted in two layers.
So, you can easily bend a copper pipe without kinks. Then simply remove the handle, remove the small roller, and pull out the workpiece.
Inserting the workpiece again, he bent it at a different angle.
