Data fixtures They are small stainless steel metal cylinders with a bounding skirt and a center punch at the end and are used for marking work in order to prepare for relatively accurate drilling of holes in the reciprocal mating element in order to obtain an even connection. Most often, such alignments are used during installation of furniture dowels of different lengths and diameters.
Two types of alignment are available to order - hollow inside and with no cavity. Hollow, respectively, can be worn on an already installed dowel. The delivery set includes 8 markers (4 pairs) with diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm.
Using them is very simple - just place the alignment in the drilled hole in one of the parts to be connected, position both parts to be connected relative to each other as needed and press them against each other with little force. The tenon punch will leave a small recess in the second part in which the drill should be placed when drilling the connecting holes.
Such markers are easy to use, save a lot of time and are quite inexpensive - definitely a necessary and useful product for those who are engaged in the assembly of all kinds of cabinets, racks, etc.
