Many of you work with wood and other materials, and one of the most important tools in the workshop is a clamp.
In this article, the author of the YouTube channel "Alexei Chezganov" will tell you how he made quick-clamping clamps from plywood.
Homemade is very simple to manufacture, and can be repeated even without the use of machines.

Manufacturing process.
First of all, Alex cut out several rectangular blanks on a band saw. Each clamp will require eight blanks.
He transferred the drawing of the template to one of the blanks, and fastened several parts together with a neiler. This is done along the outer perimeter.
Now a package of parts is cut on a band saw according to the marking.
Half of the parts need to be cut off the excess shank.
Further, the author collects them into packages, alternating between blanks. Connects with a neiler.
The nails were a little longer, the excess polished on the machine, the edges are rounded.
Now you can connect the halves of the clamps. As an axis, the master used an ordinary self-tapping screw with a wide hat.
Almost everything is ready, it remains to put on the necessary amount of stationery gum, and put half of the round timber.
And so it is possible to clamp parts with each other with these clamps.
The size of the clamps can be changed to fit your needs.
