To make a clamp, you need a PVC coupling and a threaded rod. Of the tools a hacksaw, drill, marker.
Instead of the coupling, you can use a pipe, but the clamp will be weaker.
So, we cut the coupling across. We drill a hole. We insert the rods.
The clamp is ready.
Checking the clamp for compression showed 36, although it is not clear in which system the master measured.
