This homemade product is very simple to manufacture, and does not require a lathe.

Manufacturing process.
So, Vladimir was tired of the usual handle, and he decided to replace it with a home-made one. To do this, he prepared trimming oak boards.
First of all, he begins to cut small circles from the boards. Perfect for this.
Further, gradually increasing the distance between the incisors, he makes several more disks. Drilling is done from two sides.

Now he changes the cutter to crowns. With their help, you need to cut a few more disks, but without a central hole.
In two of them he makes a central hole, and leaves the pair of the largest without him.
On the M12 stud, the discs are strung in increasing outer diameter. Lubricates joints with PVA glue, and tightens the workpieces with nuts.
Now you need to grind the uneven edges of the workpiece. The pin is simply clamped in the drill chuck, and turned on a lathe. The rotation of the grinding disc and the workpiece occurs in different directions.
The first disc is glued to the top of the handle with a slight offset from the center.
After grinding, the second disk is glued, and the workpiece is fixed in the clamp.
When the glue has dried, the author polishes the workpiece with a drill with a disk grinding nozzle.
On the top of the handle, the master puts his own brand.
The workpiece is ground by hand with sandpaper, and covered with several layers of yacht varnish.
Due to the small groove in the upper part of the handle, it can be taken into the hand in various ways, to whom it is more convenient and familiar.
