50s-style home cinema diner




Above the garage, the master had a room, which he decided to turn into a cinema in the style of a state diner in the 50s of the last century. How he did it and what technical solutions he applied will be considered in this article.

Tools and materials:

Step One: Layout
As already mentioned, this is the second floor above the garage. The room is small and the master plans where the TV panel will hang, where there will be a desk, chairs, etc.



Step Two: Elevation
He had four chairs. According to the project, they should be installed on a platform that is made of wood. The platform has a wall that will serve as a bar. From the side of the seats, electrical outlets will be installed in the wall.







Step Two: Beams
Through the room, under the ceiling, seven wooden beams pass.



It was decided to disguise them as an I-beam. The master painted them and nailed strips of plywood.






Step Three: Decorative Fasteners
It cuts out details of decorative fasteners from plywood.





Glues them. Glue hats.




Stains.




Makes bolt caps.





Installs fasteners on beams.











Step Four: Painting
Prepares the floor, walls, platform for painting.



Stains with white paint.



Stains the platform in dark color. Walls are painted diagonally, with intersection.


There will be a chess pattern on the floor. Makes markup for it. Marks a white field with blue masking tape.






Stains cells in black.



Removes masking tape.




Step Five: Bar
The top of the bar is covered with plywood.



Top plywood secures the rail. On the rail is another layer of plywood and a laminated material on top.








The butt closes with an aluminum strip.



Step Six: Chairs
On Ebay, the master bought old chairs.

Made a mount.


Redid the seat.





Polished and installed chairs.







Seventh step: cabinet / showcase
Then the master decided to make a showcase with a shelf for storage and a niche for the refrigerator.
Makes the frame.



Painted.




Cut and fixed the laminate. Sheathed with aluminum.




In the window, I fixed the packaging from sweets, chewing gum, bars.






Restored and installed a beer tank.



Step Eight: Tables with Cup Holders
He made and installed tables with cup holders between the chairs.



Step Nine: Decor
The wall next to the stairs is decorated with films.






Makes lighting with a movie sign.







Decorates the wall at the entrance to the room.





There is a carpet in front of the platform.








He fixed old projectors and movie cameras on the beams. Set the lighting.





Installed and connected the phone in retro style. Installed ceiling fans.


Installed a 75 "TV panel and a gaming machine.
