This quartz crystal was presented to the master for his birthday. The crystal is beautiful, but it will be much more interesting to make a lamp out of it.
Tools and materials:
-Quartz;
-Controller with remote control;
-The wire;
-Tool for stripping wires;
-12 V LED lamp;
-Drill with diamond coating;
-Shrink tubes;
-Switch;
-Power Supply;
Step One: Drilling
Quartz is a very hard mineral. To drill it you need a diamond-coated drill. The master finds the thinnest place in the wall on the back side and proceeds to drilling. You need to drill very slowly on wet. It took the master about 30 minutes to drill this hole.
Step Two: LEDs
As a light source, the master uses four 12 volt bulbs, two with white cool color and two with warm yellow.
Step Three: Build
Pulls the wire through the hole. Solder the wires from the LED block.
LED lamps are fixed inside the cavity of the crystal.
Connects a controller, switch and power supply.
All is ready.
