IPhone Stand

Stand for iPhone 4s from an old television antenna.

Support for delivery and three rings sawn from plastic from the back cover of the old TV.

This is the base of the broken antenna from the old radio, in the upper part where the antenna itself was attached, one part is broken, with a thread left.

The base of the antenna is inserted into the support, attached at the bottom of the support with a 3 mm screw.

The iPhone stand consists of four parts, the back with a hole for the bolt for the broken part of the antenna with two threaded threads with flanges and the bottom with holes for the microphone and speaker. The rear wall and two side panels are glued with black thin suede to protect the case.

Sawed with a simple hacksaw for metal finished with files. He glued all the details with motor gasoline. When smearing a brush with gasoline on plastic in the places of gluing, it dissolves it and acts as an adhesive. The gluing is durable and the seams are almost imperceptible. Dry in a day. Then fine-tuning the bumps with a file and a small nulevka. Wet a clean rag in gasoline and lightly hold on all parts do not press strongly, since gasoline dissolves plastic. Gloss will be normal but slightly worse than polishing.

The delivery tilts left to right back forward thanks to the antenna hinge. It’s convenient to shoot, it turned out almost like a tripod.
