For compact placement of plants, you can make an interesting shelf in which each pot will have its own place.
The author needed the following to make the shelf:
- a board with a width of 15-20 cm (depends on the diameter of the placed flower pots), a thickness of 20 mm,
- drill
- nozzles on a drill for cutting round holes of large diameter,
- drill
- rope
- electric jigsaw,
- Sander,
- abrasive paper
- plastic clamps.
Step 1
For the shelf it is necessary to take several pieces of the board of the same length and width of the desired length, for example, 1 m.
Step 2
On the folded boards one on one, the locations of the pots are marked, holes are drilled in the center of each proposed pot site for the drill.
Step 3
According to the planned holes in each board, with the help of a special nozzle, holes of the required diameter are drilled for placing pots.
Then, holes are drilled in each corner of the boards for threading the rope.
After making holes, it is necessary to carefully process all parts of the future shelf with a grinding machine and abrasive paper.
A rope is threaded into the holes prepared in the corners of the boards.
In order to fix the required distance between the boards, plastic clamps are used, which are tightened on the ropes under the boards.
The excess parts of the clamps are cut off.
A pot with a plant is placed in each hole.
The resulting shelf holds 20 plants, it can be easily moved and placed in a new place.
A filled shelf looks like an interesting composition. So an ordinary wall can be turned into green or blooming.
