When you have trimmed boards in your arsenal, try using them to create a decorative flowerbed with a birdhouse for two "owners".
Tools, materials, and equipment:
- Trimming boards;
- Nails for decoration;
- Glue for carpentry;
- Drill with drills, the diameter of which is 1.5 and 0.9 cm.
The main details of the structure
We will use boards for the construction of the pediment and the bottom 140 mm wide and 660 mm long.
Saw the board into parts
We cut 4 equal parts, then cut 2 of them for the rear and side parts of 19 mm.
We compose a birdhouse
We connect the details of the walls with glue and knock down with finishing nails for greater strength.
Flower bed frame
Attach the bottom
Cut the bottom part with nailing, leaving 3 mm on all sides. For drainage, we drill a hole with a diameter of 6 mm from the sides.
Collect the roof
We install the roof on the hinges to simplify the cleaning of the birdhouse.
Drill windows for starlings
We make a window with a diameter of 40 mm. We make a window at a level of 150-230 mm from the bottom. At the back of the wall we drill ventilation holes.
Install on a bar
Now it remains to wait for new residents.
