- gas-burner;
- wax;
- matches;
- napkins.
First of all, take a few matches. If your matches are as long as the author’s, then you need to slightly shorten them.
Next, take one napkin and fold it along the center.
Now we wrap this napkin on a match.
Now you can go to the most interesting stage in the manufacture of matches. Using a burner, thoroughly melt the wax and dip a match in it.
We are waiting for the wax to cool.
Our hunting match is ready. The author’s test showed that a homemade hunting match burns better than usual and does not fade even in the wind. It burned for 9 minutes 20 seconds, which is enough to light a fire. This method is much easier than analogues, where, for example, you need to use aluminum dust and nitro varnish.
