We will need:
- ferrite ring;
- 200 ohm resistor;
- Light-emitting diode;
- copper wire;
- housing from a flashlight;
- batteries;
- photocell from a garden lamp;
- wires;
- 3.5 mm headphone jack.
First of all, you need to disassemble the photocell from the garden lamp and remove all its components, leaving only the element itself with two wires coming from it. To these wires you need to connect the input jack from the headphones for low-frequency amplifiers.
Next, we take a ferrite ring, which, according to the author of the idea, can be purchased for 20-30 rubles, and a copper wire 0.5 - 0.8 mm thick. It should be noted that when using a wire of smaller thickness, the transmitted sound will be of poor quality. On a ferrite ring, two windings need to be wound. The primary winding should consist of 20 turns, and the secondary - of 35 turns. Note that, if desired, more turns can be wound, especially on the secondary winding.
Let's move on to the assembly. The positive contact from the power source must be connected to the positive contact of the LED. The minus contact from the power source must be connected to one of the wires on the secondary winding, not forgetting to remove the insulation from the copper wire. The second wire on the secondary winding is connected to the resistor. And the second end from the resistor is connected to the minus of the LED.
The primary winding should be connected to a wire with a 3.5 mm jack. Finally, connect the wire from the headphones to the sound transmitter and insert its tip into the smartphone.
Our system is ready. We turn on the music on the smartphone and make sure that the LED light is aimed at the photocell. Enjoy the sound.
