If you liked the latest film about Mad Max, and you want to have an original accessory made in the style of this film, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with this review, which is dedicated to making a steering wheel-style keychain from a movie.
Let's start by watching the video from the author of the idea
We will need:
- a plastic stick from a candy;
- copper wire;
- epoxylin or cold welding;
- gear;
- plastic skull;
- Super glue;
- PVA glue;
- a thread.
The first step is to bend the plastic stick from the candy to get a ring. To do this, it should be heated and wrapped around any cylindrical object, for example, a plastic pipe.
We wrap the resulting ring with thread, gluing it with PVA glue.
At this step, you need to attach the skull to the gear. To do this, simply heat the hairpin in the center of the gear and insert the skull on it.
We stick the skull with superplastic or cold welding.
It remains to fix the gear with the skull in the middle of the structure. To do this, we will use a wire that should be heated. Then we pierce the plastic with the heated wire and insert it into the superplastic. When using cold welding, it is important to do this before it is petrified.
We cut off the excess by additionally gluing the wires with superglue.
We paint the structure with spray paint, which will serve as soil.
Next, we take acrylic paints and paint the steering wheel with a brush.
In order to prevent paint falling out, we cover the keychain with a layer of varnish.
Our original Mad Max steering wheel key ring is ready.
