Power outages, local, technological and large-scale disasters can instantly disable the entire well-functioning system of energy supply, communications and comfort in your home, no matter how “smart” it may be. Such a danger is present not only in rural areas, but also in large metropolitan cities, where, no matter how much you wish, there is no way to install your own “backup” source of electricity in the form of a diesel generator in the basement of an apartment building. Nevertheless, we are not without a simple way to use alternative types of electricity using industrial uninterruptible power supplies and generators; we will discuss their simple refinement in a book explaining the issues of autonomous energy supply.
