I have 2 important news:

First one: The other day we updated the site a bit and added a couple of necessary things, which were not enough for convenience.

Second:Soon we will switch to a competitive incentive system for homemade. More details at the very end of this page.


Chips and additions

1. Now on the site are all forms (adding homemade items and comments) with a visual editor that has many settings:

Competitive system

On Monday (11/21/2016) we introduce a competitive system of encouraging authors.



In a nutshell: we announce a competition with several valuable prizes; authors add homemade products; articles are assigned a serial number. At the end of the contest, using the random number service, winners are selected among homemade.If you add more than one homemade product, the chances of winning increase by multiple, and it may happen that one author gets more than one prize.

Immediately make a reservation, the prizes are not cheap more than 1500 rubles. Mostly tools and tool kits, machine tools and fixtures.

Soon we will publish all the conditions and nuances of the contest.

I agree that only authors who have submitted home-made products designed in accordance with the rules of the site should act as experts. Or choose judges randomly from registered users (provided that they do not participate in this competition) for each competition different.

Yes, the question of “refereeing” always has its drawbacks and advantages. I want to offer you such an option (as an example). You (the administration) appoint three experts (moderators of the competition). Which, each with its bell tower evaluates the presented craft.
For example, in three categories.
1. Originality of home-made and its difference from existing ones.
(The author himself must indicate in the description the advantage of his invention from similar homemade products).
 Three ratings can be set by an expert. 0; 1; 3.

2. The performance and cleanliness of workmanship made by homemade.
Three ratings can be set by an expert. 0; 1; 3.

3. How much the homemade product presented is useful for repetition.
Three ratings can be set by an expert. 0; 1; 3.
Then the total score set by the expert is determined and ultimately summed up with the results of the remaining (two) experts.
An example; -
1. point 3 points.
2. point 1 point.
3.point 4 points.
The total amount of points from the first for homemade 8. The second expert - 12. The third expert - 10 ..
The overall rating for the presented homemade product is 30.
If the number of points from different authors matches, decide at the discretion of the administrator or using the same random number generator.
If one of the experts wishes to present his homemade product, the administrator takes on his role as an expert.

And yet, you forget about the “census takers”, only authors of homemade products take part in the competition, the “census takers” have not been working since November 1.

Well, they have already talked about this before (even I wrote). But this: - "" - I think it’s not quite right. This will not attract interesting homemade products (one of the reasons for the loss of interest in the site). They will also (if they will) collect all the rubbish (which has neither the value of the craft, nor the seriousness of the performance), if only to "throw" more. The second is not unimportant, what is it to send ?! His craft (which is more interesting) and suffered personally or "battered" on other sites, someone else. I express my point of view, personally such conditions (random choice) do not suit me. This equalizes everyone one comb.
